Friday @BHD: Boston’s Swinging Steaks signed with Capricorn Records in 1993 pioneering what is now called Americana - blending rock, country, and roots music. Over three decades, eight albums, and countless shows later, the Swinging Steaks still earn their reputation as a dynamic, charismatic live act - reflecting their sheer joy of playing music together. Their latest release, "YoYo", was co-produced by Boston rock legend Dave Minehan and features tight vocal harmonies, musical chops, and tunes from the group's three fine songwriters. The Steaks have toured/appeared with legends like Los Lobos, The Band, and The Black Crowes and we are thrilled to be hosting them for their return to the Distillery.
