Friday - Jambase is co-hosting this event as part of their 25th anniversary festivities. This also happens to be Club d’Elf’s 25th anniversary year as well - so it’s gonna be quite the celebration. Truly one of our favorite bands, Club d’Elf was once described by Boston Herald’s Jed Gottlieb as “Crushed between the borders of Morocco, jam band land and the kingdom of avant-garde jazz lies Club d’Elf…James Brown-meets-Sun-Ra.” A shifting ensemble of the area’s best talent, this iteration will feature Jennifer Hartswick on trumpet, Amy Bellamy on keys, Dave "Fuze" Fiuczynski on guitars, Mister Rourke on turntables, Fabio Pirozzolo doing percussion and bandleader Mike Rivard on bass & sintir. Opening for d’Elf will be a really cool duo performance by Jennifer Hartswick and Nick Cassarino. NOTE: Doors at 6 for this show - music will start at 7.
